Rustic guest cabin in a bush setting
**PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING!** Especially “other things to note”. A cosy little cabin in a bush setting. Studio style layout with a queen bed. Cabin has reverse cycle air conditioning, own (very small) bathroom with a toilet, shower and washing machine. There is a kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, dual hotplate, electric fry pan and benchtop oven (located inside the cupboard). All linen provided, tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Very cute and cosy, a comfortable place to sleep when you get home from your explorations and adventures! Kitchenette with basic cooking facilities, plates, cups, cutlery provided. You are welcome to make a little fire outside if you wish (dependent upon State fire restrictions). Timber can be collected from the ground around the cabin or along the nature strip just outside the front fence. Please keep to that side of the property, and away from the main house and large shed on the other side! These are my private buildings. Enter through the front gates and turn right on the circular gravel driveway. Drive past the yurt, and the second dwelling you come to will be your cabin, you can park in the carport alongside it. I live in the main house on site, and can be available if needed but would prefer to let you have your privacy! 13km from Pomona (the nearest IGA and cafes), 6km from Boreen Point and Lake Cootharaba, 10km from Elanda Point with it’s restaurant and microbrewery. 25mins from Noosa main beach. Plenty of lovely little spots to find in the area - Cooroy, Pomona, Cooran and Kim Kin all have their unique little attractions! Coffee shops, breweries, op shops and even a winery not far away! Must have your own car to get around Please note I have another Airbnb beside the cabin. (A yurt, approx 10-15m away). This may or may not have other guests there during your stay. This is ideal if you want to have a holiday with friends but not be in the same accommodation! The water supply is rain water, it looks a bit off colour due to the tannins from the leaves. If you are not used to drinking rain water, it would be better to bring a supply of drinking water. I live on a 90km/h road so there is traffic going past during the day. Night time traffic is very sparse. There is NO TECHNOLOGY on offer: no tv or internet and limited phone reception (sms works ok but to make a phone call you will need to go out to the gate). I do, however, have books and jigsaw puzzles! 😊
