Forest Ridge B ‘n’ B

Our cosy 3 bedroom house is located just 15 minutes from the nearest beach, shops and just minutes from Darkes Forest Horse Riding Ranch, Glenbernie Orchard, and walking and bike riding in the Dharwal National park and surrounding area. Relaxing, rural, peaceful, fresh air, wild flowers, wildlife, walking and bike riding trails, amazing sunsets, waterfall, swimming holes. We are minutes away from a fresh fruit orchard where you can pick your own fruit (seasonal) and taste the local cider, play a round of golf (18 holes or Putt Putt ) or visit Symbio zoo. (Symbio zoo issue leave passes throughout the day, so if you wish to go into the zoo early in the morning and then leave for a break then you may re enter in the afternoon) A large dam is located on the property. This is a private area and we would request that guests do not open the private gate and enter the area. (For safety reasons). There are grassed areas for you to roam and use on both sides , at the front of the home. (Near the bird cage on the northern side of the home and near the chicken pen which is on the southern side of the home) for your use. Take a seat and relax next to the garden area and listen to the tranquil sound of running water from a water fountain. Our home is set upon a five acre property, where the host family reside with another occupied small granny flat owner. Our only request would be that you respect the owners space. We love where we live and would like to share it with you during your stay. Hosts are nearby if you require any assistance. The township of Helensurgh is a 15 minute drive, where you will find a Coles superarket, numerous restaurants, hotel, club, and coffee shops. The Sunrise nursery has an excellent cafe for breakfast and lunches. The city of Wollongong and the stunning coastal beaches and Sea Cliff bridge is approximately a 25 minute drive from where we are located. Nearby public transport- Helensburgh and Waterfall train stations, 15-20 minute drive to both stations. Local bus service available during school days. There are a number of horses and one dog on our property. ( The dog is in a fenced off area which is in a private area)The grassed area on the north/ western side of the home. ( towards the back of the house) is our private space. Although, if you do see us wandering around, we are more than happy to have a chat. Thank you.
