Swimming pool and gardens. 10 minute walk from the cobble streets of the old town, air conditioning, BBQ, lounge & bedroom terraces. Beautiful bathrooms & large kitchen windows overlooking Cascais Bay and up to Lisbon. Fabulous sunset on living room veranda. The Space: The most beautiful views from all of our bedrooms, living room and kitchen make our place unique. You can use the terraces all year around as they are protected from wind which is a big advantage here as we have all year around sun. You can literally suntan in winter it's so lovely. We also have paid special attention to the decoration of our bathrooms and kitchen to make you feel right at home. Views are 180° here and a different aspect from each space. It is also located just at the edge of the old town is not as noisy as in the narrow streets but close enough to be there in well under 10 minutes by foot. All of our verandas have built in seating with wood cladding so they offer each bedroom privacy and it's own outdoor environment, where you can happily read a book or sun bathe and soak up the sun. Our home comfortably houses 6 adults. Can be made as 2 doubles and 2 singles OR as 3 doubles Guest Access: Guests have access to the apartment with all it's amenities which include a smokeless BBQ and lovely terraces. We provide heating and cooling with air conditioning units. Guests have use of the gardens and swimming pool included in the rental rate. The Neighborhood: What do I love about my neighbourhood? We are on the ocean front and have a marina so we have some great places to hang out. We can eat fresh fish daily in a variety of excellent restaurants with gorgeous sea views. Although we are a smallish cobble street town with loads of charming narrow streets, we have a good selection of local museums, art exhibition centres and cultural attractions. If you love the water you can take a boat out on the ocean for an afternoon. Getting Around: You can almost everywhere on foot. But in the case that you don't feel up to it or you want to go further afield there is great transport system called the BusCas and GiroBus. They are circular routes which take you to all the areas outside of the town centre as well as the out of town shopping mall and cinemas. Otherwise the train will take you to central Lisbon or catch the bus to Sintra from the bus station across the road den the train station. Other Things to Note: This is a self-catering apartment. - Linen for each bed (1 set) - The two single beds in bedroom 3 can be made as a double upon early request. - Towels for each guest (1 set – bath towel and hand towel) - Hygiene products – limited supply of soap, shampoo and toilet paper Extra linen and towels have a cost, as well as any baby amenities (baby cot, high chair). When it's later than that we may sometimes leave a key at the 24 hour porter for you. The apartment has a manual which will explain the workings of appliances etc in the property. But we remain available on the phone in case of need. We would then leave you to enjoy your stay in peace but in the knowledge were only a phone call away (you'll always have more than one local contact number). On leaving the property you'd just leave our keys in the entrance hall after closing up all doors and windows and turning off all lights and air conditioning units.
