This room is in a boutique hotel, located on top of the beautiful Rumassala mountain in Unawatuna. With breathtaking panoramic views of the City of Galle & the beautiful Indian Ocean. An hour away from Colombo, about 10 mins from the Highway exit or about a 20min ride from the Galle train station. There is a roof top pool with panoramic views and an in house chef to prepare meals. Price includes breakfast. Other meals & snacks can be ordered from our menu and will be charged separately. The Agnus Luxury Villa in Rumassala offers the best views of the Indian Ocean and the City of Galle. Come stay with us relax, while enjoying the stunning sunsets the Indian Ocean has to offer. There is a roof top infinity pool & a kitchen with a chef who can make meals on request (which will be charged separately). All the rooms have en-suite bathroom, air conditioning as well as free WiFi in the lobby area. All the common areas can be accessed by guest. The pool will be open at 0600am and will closed by 08:30pm. The roof top will be open till 10:00pm. The kitchen access is only for our kitchen staff. All our staff are all from the local area & live close by. They can give you tips on what to do in and around the area. The Agnus Luxury Villa is located about one hour and a half from Colombo in a town called Unawatuna. Its right on top of a mountain called Rumassala.Its a fairly easy drive on the expressway. Rumassala is a mountain which is in Unawatuna which has a famous beach with lots of restaurants and bars. Unawatuna is a 10 minute drive. Closer to the villa there is a beach called the Jungle Beach its about 10-15 min walk. Its usually quiet but can get busy during the weekends. Its quite nice and secluded. Both places (specially Unawatuna) offers a lot of activities. Snorkeling, boat rides, diving and many more. The main town Galle is also about a 10 minute drive and has an old dutch fort. It’s a world heritage listed site. Inside you again have museums, restaurants, bars and its a great place to walk around and explore as its got a lot of history. If you want to venture a little bit more towns like Mirissa ( about and hours drive from Galle) which is famous for whale watching where you can see the worlds largest animal, the blue whale. You can grab a tuk tuk from close by and get around or you could cycle and walk to the beach. There are shops close by where you can rent scooters. Galle Fort is only 15 mins by tuk tuk Jungle beach is about a 15 mins walk or 5 mins by tuk tuk Unawatuna Beach is about 10 mins by Tuk tuk. We do not provide airport transfers but let us know and we will try to find out the details on how to organize one. Breakfast is included with the room. You can choose either Continental breakfast or a Sri Lankan breakfast. Please note that the Checkin time is 2:00pm & the checkout time is 12:00noon. Pool will be open from 06:00am & will be closed by 08:30pm. Outside guest are not allowed.
