Our Beautiful tree lined property boasts oak beams and a cosy open fireplace with a private pool , set in 13 acres with its own carp lake .A perfect retreat for relaxation ,outdoor leisure and wildlife. Set in 13 acres of tree lined field with its own 3 acre carp fishing lake The sole use of all the outdoor space, private pool area , gardens. The pool The pool and filters are discreetly cleaned on a daily basis normally around 8 in the morning and takes approximately 10-15 minutes depending on exact requirements. Please do not change any of the settings on the pool including the position of the return nozzle (water jet which returns water to the pool after cleaning) as this can effect water entering the skimmer and result in a dirty pool as debris sinks to the bottom. Please remove all items from the pool overnight to allow the pool to clean itself properly. If the skimmer becomes blocked it will not filter the water which results in a dirty pool. On the final Saturday of your stay we start a complete clean down of the pool area at 08.00 to ensure that it is perfect for our next guests, hopefully this will not cause any inconvenience. The owner John is on site, away from the main house but available for advice and information about the surrounding area and will tend to the pool and gardens from time to time,whilst respecting privacy at all times. The surrounding landscape, local walking , cycle trails.A perfect place to unwind with a book under a tree or by the pool. Enjoy alfresco dining by the BBQ in the pool area or watch the sunrise and sunset at the front of the house with a cuppa or glass of the local wine or beer. Listen to the Owls hooting, birds singing. Take a leisurely walk around the surrounding lake and field ,early evening you may come across a red deer, wild boar .Hear the frog orchestra as the sun sets. The local village just 10 mins walk away with a quaint cafe bar , boulangerie for fresh bread and local,partisserie. Just 3Km away is a public recreational lake , take a picnic for the day , hire a bike , fish , walk or for the more adventurous wakeboard , windsurf or sail. There is a large super market just 10 minutes away for all food fuel and convenience items. A car is required and can be collected from the airport. Please contact us with regard to fishing as currently we only offer this between March and the end of June. There is also an opportunity to just rent the lake with the use of a mobile home for fishing only.
