Cassowary Blue

We are not in Daintree township but over the Daintree River at Cow Bay in the Daintree National Park area on the way to Cape Tribulation. The map on this page is not accurate. It is on a quiet dead end road having cleared areas around the house and walking tracks surrounded by conservation protected, untouched rainforest and creek. There is a verandah and two other outdoor seating areas on the banks of the creek. Centrally located in the Daintree area it is close to Cow Bay Beach , Thornton Beach , swimming holes, the general store , the Daintree Discovery Centre, Jindalba boardwalk , Crocodylus Hostel and the Cow Bay Hotel with bottleshop. Restaurants Heritage Lodge and Link Haven are close by . The house is fully screened to keep insects and wildlife out. We have movies, music , books ,games and a BBQ . There are bathroom essentials and basic pantry supplies : tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil, cereal , long life milk and 2 minute noodles in our full kitchen. It has two separate bedrooms for a maximum of 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children, with a king size bed in the main bedroom and a second bedroom with 2 x single beds. Perfect for couples . Be aware , as with most holiday houses in the Daintree, there is no tv reception or internet , mobile phone is unreliable with telstra but optus works and we have an off the grid stand alone power system.
