Just nearby is the river Savinja, a great place for swimming and cycling along. In 15 min by car you will be at Golte, a mountain with many hiking trails in summer and a ski center for the winter days. Frequently visited place are also the Beer Fontain in Žalec, Cave Jama Pekel in Šempeter and the castle Žolnek in Braslovče. Nearby is Celje, a city with many cultural place and attractions. And it is also just a 40 min drive to Ljubljana center. Also worth to see is Velenje with a modern center and an amazing lake where you can go for a swim or enjoy many other water activities like wind surfing, SUP and more.
