Rosevidney Glamping
My place is close to some of the most beautiful beaches and scenery in Cornwall, St Ives, Lands End, St Michaels Mount, and stunning beaches. You’ll love my place because of the location, the people, and the ambiance. A true rural location, an escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Ideal for families, couples and groups, pet friendly too. Full size beds, all bedding supplied, a woodburning stove to keep you cosy, your own shower and compost loo, all you have to do is arrive and relax. Our stunning Safari Tents, are also known as canvas lodges, they are more like a chalet than a tent. Each tent has a full size double bed, twin single beds, and a comfy sofa bed in the main living area. Full bedding is supplied and cosy 13.5 tog duvets are standard. Each kitchen is equipped with a gas hob and grill, as well as a wood burning stove, complete with oven and hotplate. All the cutlery, crockery, pots and pans you will need are all included. A table, chairs and sofas complete the main living area, ensuring there is plenty of space for everyone to relax in comfort. We also supply a tripod style BBQ allowing al fresco cooking, or it can be used as a fire pit so you can enjoy a real fire outdoors. Each tent has its own composting loo located nearby, and a shower allowing virtually unlimited hot water, some people have even commented the showers are better than their own at home. The tents are located in a large peaceful meadow, which is exclusively for the use of the two tents. We only ask guests to respect others need for peace and quiet. I live on the farm so am generally always around to help or advise on whatever the concern maybe. Whether its local knowledge needed or a car jump starting, I'm always happy to help We are located on the National Cycle-way, and are approximately 3 miles from Marazion and St Micheal's Mount and approximately 5 miles from St Ives. Rosevidney is a great base to explore West Cornwall from, we are close to the main A 30 but far enough away to offer quiet and seclusion. The farm itself has predominantly been turned over to Horses and Livery. Whilst trekking is not offered, a high standard of teaching either on the school horses or your own is offered. Guests are free to walk around the whole farm, we just ask you not to feed or go in the paddocks with the horses. We are about 2 miles from the nearest railway Station which is St Erth, there are bus links on the main road approx 1/2 mile away, good road links and good cycle links. We have plenty of parking onsite, although cars do not go in the meadow with the tents.
