Unique, Off- Grid Beehive Pod at Westcote Glamping

Situated on a working sheep farm in the heart of the Scottish Borders Westcote has a range of beautifully styled pods, huts, and gypsy caravans offering panoramic views of the Minto Hills, stabling facilities, hot tubs and much more! Westcote's location means nearby will find beautiful countryside, exhilarating hikes, charming pubs and historic ruins. This unit is our one-of-a-kind Beehive Pod built in Cumbria. The Beehive is a compact quirky unit sleeping four adults comfortably in a bunk bed and pull-out sofa bed. Working off solar panel electricity and locally sourced gas the unit meets all your needs, from charging devices to cooking up Westcote's breakfast hamper on the unit's hob. The pod has its own BBQ, hob, fridge, fire pit, small gas heater and external eco-toilet. While you also have access to our showers, shared outdoor kitchen facilities (for an oven), picnic benches. Westcote also has three wood-burning hot tubs - contact directly to book! Notes: For Covid-19 policy changes please see our website and social media. Solar power means that the plugs do not always work, depending on weather. Guests can use the plug point in the outdoor kitchen if the battery is low to charge phones, dry their hair ect. No excessive noise after 11 pm. Bedding (feather duvets, pillows, towels and brushed cotton sheets) available to pre-book for £10 per unit. Dogs are welcome - £5 charge per dog, maximum 3 dogs. The large hot tubs are £35 for exclusive use from 5pm until midnight and the small is £25. This is subject to availability, please contact directly to book. A complimentary bottle of Prosecco is provided for guests staying three nights or more. Additional items can be purchased, for instance, extra logs, BBQ hampers, and our own hen eggs.
