Our cottage is located in a 7 ½ acre property nestling among the Normandy hedgerows. Surrounded by forests, meadows and orchards, it is the perfect place to reconnect with nature, to unwind and to relax, with a large landscaped garden and a heated outdoor pool as well as an orchard of apple and pear trees. You are in a quiet environment in the countryside, but at the same time only 5 minutes from the charming town of Beuzeville where many shops are available and only 10 minutes from the bustling harbor of Honfleur and the sea. Our cottage for 4 guests, recently renovated and fully equipped has the charm of nineteen century farm building with its own own private garden with a beautiful view of the property. The parking area is inside the property, close to the cottage. All our guests can play table tennis in the barn, or ride bicycles available for exploring the surrounding countryside known as "la petite champagne". Children gather around a swing and a rope ladder attached to the branches of a large cherry tree . The outdoor swimming pool (11 meters by 5) is open from April to October10, weather permitting, and is for the exclusive use of our guests. It has a rolling shutter in accordance with safety requirements. Ideally situated for hiking, cycling and horse-riding . Easy access to many hiking trails, some of which run by the property. An equestrian center and the Saint Gatien golf course are both in the vicinity. Many places of Interest to discover in the area : Honfleur's old harbour, its lively streets, art galleries, museums, will give you a holiday feeling in all seasons. You can also cross the famous Bridge of Normandy to discover the Havre Muma Museum ( Musée d' Art Moderne André Malraux) located at the harbor entrance. Villerville : charming coastal village with a beautiful wild beach shortly past Honfleur on the road to Trouville / Deauville. Le Marais Vernier :a few kilometers away, a surprising polder landscape in an old loop of the Seine with many half-timbered thatched houses , a large lake , more than 200 species of birds including herons and storks and the largest peat-bog in France . This natural site is part of the National Park of the Loops of the Seine. Deauville/Trouville, flagships of the “Côte Fleurie” , two totally different atmospheres under the same invigorating and iodized sea air. Enjoy the local markets with their producers from the area, some of which specialize in organic foods, including Pont L' Evêque, Pont-Audemer , Cormeilles or Trouville . A little further on, discover the Cider route in the heart of the “Pays d’Auge” with its typical landscapes, postcard villages, or go visit or revisit the beaches and memory sites from June 1944. Finally, try a day trip to see some other great sites, such as the Mont Saint- Michel or the cliffs of Etretat.
