An elevated position looking towards the Dolfor hills, giving panoramic views over the old mill town of Newtown. A short walk into the town and the River Severn. An ideal base for walking, canoeing and cycling and anyone wishing to enjoy the beautiful countryside of Powys. Our apartment is modern, quirky, cosy and private with ample, easy parking. A strategic location: Cambrian Mountains, Wales west coast, Royal Welsh show ground all less than an hour away and en-route to North Wales. Our apartment has a large secure patio ideal for relaxing in the evening or enjoying the morning sunshine. We have underfloor heating and a large bath in one of the en-suites to truly relax. Lock up facilities for push bikes and canoes with hose pipe washing area. The washing machine facility is available on request. Guests have access to all of the parts that are included in the self-contained apartment We are mostly on site but we don't get in your way. If you need us we'll be there to help. Walking distance from the town, we have the Newtown Textile Museum directly down the road and the Oriel Davies Art Gallery. Newtown also has ten pin bowling, a cinema, a sports centre and a theatre. We are walking distance from the River Severn where there are canoe launching areas. Dolerw Park is just down the road and ideal for walking dogs as is the river and canal path. The Newtown town council website has 14 walks from the town centre. There is a regular bus service to Shrewsbury and Cardiff and trains to Aberystwyth, North Wales, Shrewsbury and Birmingham. Our property is a stones' throw from the Severn Way and close by to Offa's Dyke, Glyndwr's way and The Shropshire Way.
