Rope Cottage- A cosy Cotswold stone cottage, centrally located in the beautiful village of Chadlington, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Amenities in the village include; village shop, delicatessen, butcher and public house- all within walking distance from the cottage. Chadlington~ voted "one of best places to live in the UK 2018" Rope Cottage is a cosy one storey Cotswold stone cottage, centrally located in the beautiful village of Chadlington and next to my home. The cottage comprises a double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and sitting room (with double sofa bed). -The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook at home during your stay or just to store the basics whilst you eat out. Breakfast supplies (Full English or Continental) can be pre-ordered by messaging me after your booking and they will be ready on arrival. -The sitting room is cosy with a traditional stone fireplace, wood-burning stove, sofabed, TV/DVD and dining area. -The bedroom has a double bed, chest of draws, bedside tables and chair. -The bathroom contains a bath/shower combination, vanity mirror, sink, WC. It is a perfect spot whatever your holiday- walking, cycling, sightseeing, or rest and relaxation. Chadlington has 3 shops – (Cafe de la Post, Chadlington Quality Foods, and Slatters Butchers) and a garage. Other amenities include the Tite Inn, Cricket ground, Memorial Hall and Bowls Club. Nearby villages: Charlbury, Churchill, Kingham, Bourton-on-the-Water Nearby Towns: Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Norton, Witney, Woodstock Parking~ is available on site next to Rope Cottage. Trains~ Chadlington is well served by First Great Western trains from Charlbury, with regular services to London Paddington via Oxford, and Hereford. Trains run on a generally hourly basis to Oxford, Reading and London Paddington, and in the other direction to Worcester and Great Malvern. Most services are operated by comfortable Inter-City trains. Travel time is around 1hr30 from London and 20mins from Oxford. Bus~ Chadlington is served by bus services S3 & X9.
