Magical Maianbar Retreat

A beautiful, light filled studio, surrounded by bush, brimming with flowers and ferns, and a glorious stone bath for two. All the essentials, kitchenette, en-suite, and a one minute walk to the beach from the garden. Cooking facilities include a multi function microwave, barbecue, toaster and coffee machine- no stove top This peaceful retreat is moments from the water's edge - the lovely Maianbar lagoon. Birdsong and bush surround. The studio is beautifully decorated and fully equipped for a lovely weekend or mid week stay. Please note, the studio is entirely self contained. It is separate from the main house. Think of an apartment - there are shared entries and gardens within a private home. Unfortunately not suitable for disabled people as there are steps. Room, kitchenette, ensuite, garden with gate at the bottom leading to the waterfront and a stroll around to the local cafe. Steps up to garage I am happy to be available as much or as little as needed. I love people but understand that a romantic getaway does not need company. There are beautiful surrounding beaches, and magnificent walks through Royal National Park. Bundeena is 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes walk with cafes, shops and a supermarket. Car transport recommended. Train to Sutherland Station and Park Connect bus to Maianbar. Alternatively, train to Cronulla Station, the lovely Bundeena ferry across Port Hacking River and bus or approx 2 km walk from Bundeena to Maianbar. Bush bike and walking tracks abound in the Royal National Park and are highly recommended. Parking, except on national holidays is a breeze. I also own 2 fishing kayaks with which you are welcome to adventure My check out time is 10 am to allow time to clean However if there is no immediate booking you may linger on and enjoy yourselves until 1 pm Unfortunately, although I love animals, I must say no to pets Also , because there are stone steps it is necessary to be reasonably agile
