The Cottage - Picton is an award winning luxury 2 bedroom country cottage located in the foothills of Picton, just one hour from Sydney. There are magnificent views off both the front and back verandah's. The Cottage offers the perfect place to relax and unwind . You can cook up a storm in the luxury kitchen or BBQ in style on the alfresco. Sit in front of the outdoor firepit or soak in a gorgeous outdoor claw bath under the stars while overlooking some breathtaking natural country views. Located 2km from the sleepy town of Picton. The cottage offers luxury country style and exquisitely furnished interiors. Both bedrooms have a queen size bed and full wardrobe. We have a well equipped kitchen, washing machine, Full HD TV, alfresco with Weber BBQ, split system A/C, firepit and under cover parking. Included in your stay, premium bed linen & towels, complimentary tea and coffee, luxury toiletries range and bicycles. There are chickens, alpacas, quails and sheep to feed with the chickens supplying you with farm fresh eggs. There is an outdoor spa to relax in under the stars. You will have access to our 6 acres with parking on site. There is plenty of walking along lovely country roads or take out the cottage push bikes. We respect your privacy during your stay, however, we are close on hand if you need anything. We can introduce your children (or the adult kids) to our sheep, chickens, alpaca's and our gorgeous dogs, Bailee the beagle and Winnie the Australian kelpie. Feeding the animals is a highlight ! There are coffee shops and cafe's galore along with charming specialty shops. The Thirlmere Train Museum and Sydney skydiving is only a 10 minute drive from the cottage. There are plenty of hiking trails nearby. Push bikes are available for a country ride or head into town for a coffee. You can walk into town if you are feeling fit. (15 - 20 minutes). The oldest licences hotel in NSW “George IV” has a great pub meal and terrific atmosphere. There is nothing like a campfire under the stars so you can toast marshmallows! or soak in a luxury spa also under to stars.
