True North Stays proudly presents: A newly renovated joiners workshop located in the heart of the Holme Valley, ideal for cyclists, walkers, and Yorkshire explorers. Just a short drive into Holmfirth town centre. The Workshop is well located for exploring all that the beautiful 'Last of the Summer Wine' region has to offer – from the breathtakingly beautiful countryside, to the local vineyard, bars, restaurants and shops. Not to mention the lovely historic Butchers Arms Pub almost next door! The Workshop Hepworth offers a perfect example of industrial design crossed with Scandinavian minimalism, both outside and in. Influenced by the original aesthetics of the old joiners workshop, parts dating back to the 17th century, the owners have sympathetically converted the space into a contemporary home. Much of the project was determined by the original design and aesthetic of the building along with the young designer owner wanting to keep a focus on sustainability. From the Greencoat zinc roof to the eco friendly Air Source heating system which provides each room with underfloor heating controlled individually with a touch screen thermostat, every detail has been considered. A bolthole for couples, you’ll be able to embrace your romantic side and fill your days with bracing walks throughout the countryside fuelled by hearty meals and real ale enjoyed by the fireside of a local, rural pub. On entering the underfloor heated stone flagged entrance hall welcomes you, with boot room and WC off. Up the wooden stairs you are presented with a contemporary stainless steel open plan kitchen which includes induction range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The space opens up to the double height open plan dining and living area underneath a large roof window. A mezzanine floor above the kitchen overlooks the dining and living areas, and contains a desk, sofa and an arm chair for work or chill out. Off the main living area, 2 beautifully appointed double bedrooms and a stylish shower room complete the Workshop. Parking for 2 cars is available directly outside The Workshop (park in front of the blue double gates and blue garage doors) There is a key for the front door in the lock box. To enter the front door please insert the Yale key, pull the lock towards you and turn the key to the right. Please put the key back in the lock box when out and about, to prevent any lost keys. Lost keys will be charged at £15.00.
