Bay Bed and Breakfast

My place is close to the beach, restaurants and dining, and public transport. You’ll love my place because of the views, the ambiance, and the location. Seaton Delaval Hall is just a mile away. My place is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, cyclists, famiies and business travellers. Seaton Sluice is a great central point for travellers from South or North. Pilgrims stay on route to Holy Island. Cycles can be stored safely. Two small lhasa apso dogs live with me. Nicely furnished home. Original art on the walls. Pleasant dining room. Gardens front and back. Televisions in each bedroom except small single room which is just £20 for a night. Tea and coffee making facilities in the double rooms. Toaster and microwave available. 100% cotton bedding. Use of washing machine and dryer for extra cost. I do not rent out the whole house. I do provide a great breakfast, special dietary requirements are catered for. For disabled visitors I have sleeping facilities downstairs on a high quality double sofa bed room next to the dining area. TV available with Netflix etc. There is a downstairs shower room/WC . Car parking on drive, bus runs every 10 minutes into Newcastle via Whitley Bay, or Blyth. From Blyth there are buses into Northumberland. Taxi to nearby Metro station into Newcastle or get Metro from Whitley Bay. Lots of lovely walks locally, either coastal or rural in Holywell Dene. Great sandy beach to the North, rocky beaches opposite house and St. Mary's Lighthouse very near in fact can be seen from the house. Own key for access. As much or as little interaction as you would like. Individual needs catered for. Peaceful seaside location, with access to many walks and cycle paths. Frequent bus service into the big city of Newcastle, via local towns of Whitley Bay and Tynemouth. A quaint fishing village with plenty of local eateries including several pubs and fantastic fish and chip shop. Churches, chemist,well stocked Co-op and a corner shop nearby. Scenic views, perfect for budding artists. Within walking distance of a gorgeous large sandy beach (Blyth), the local beach opposite the house is less sandy with interesting rock pools. Perfect for cyclists, cycle can be stored in secure garage. Handy for Tynemouth, Newcastle, Hadrian's wall, Alnwick High class art gallery in same road. The food at nearby pubs is of a high standard, a pizza over is available at the Astley Arms even on a Sunday evening. On rare occasions Anita will provide a two course meal for a small fee. 308 and 309 bus services, frequently, to Whitley Bay and Newcastle (and Blyth). Metro into city centre and the rest of the coast, from Whitley Bay. Train station in city centre (Central Station). Newcastle Airport approximately 15 miles away. Local taxi services available. Guests often stay on route to or from Edinburgh. Many love to visit Alnwick castle (Harry Potter fame) or the Roman wall. Some go to Bamburgh, Seahouses and Holy Island. Others find it a half way spot on route to North of Scotland or to the South of England, or maybe stay before catching a ferry from North Shields. Breakfast included: full English or continental, yoghurts, cereal, homemade jams, honey, toast, selection of teas, real coffee and fruit juice. Special diets can be catered for: veggie, vegan, gluten free and others.
