Bedroom – Sunny and warm, offering a comfortable Queen Bed with luxurious new bed linen and a large built-in wardrobe with ample storage to unpack and make yourself at home. A panel heater keeps the room toasty as does the bathrobes provided. Living - Room with couch, dining table, TV, microwave, mini fridge, toaster and kettle. Please note there is no kitchen sink nor stovetop in the room. You’ll be cosy year round with the 2000w panel heater for cooler nights. Bathroom – Fresh and functional - shower, vanity, mirror, toilet, heated towel rail and skylight. We supply plush towels, hairdryer and eco-friendly toiletries (soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner). Laundry – A washing machine/tumble dryer and laundry powder are supplied. Clothes drying frame, steam iron and ironing board are provided. Kitchen Facilities: Under bench fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine with coffee pods provided. No oven/stovetop or kitchen sink onsite, though you won’t need a full kitchen as you are surrounded by an abundance of fabulous cafes and restaurants! If you are too tired from sightseeing to go out for dinner Uber Eats deliver right to your door. PLEASE NOTE: This upstairs apartment functions as three rooms joined by the private hallway. You may see an occasional employee entering the commercial business downstairs. PLEASE NOTE: Your apartment is located above a commercial premise occupied by a small local business. From time to time there will be activity in the morning and you may meet one of their lovely staff in the ground floor entry foyer. Self check in with lock box. Your local host won't be on the property but is available should you need assistance during your stay. Victoria St, CBD and Merivale are vibrant retail precincts by day; by night it offers a multitude of dining options. Culture vultures are in the perfect spot to enjoy the museum and art galleries with gorgeous heritage buildings side by side sleek new architecture. The Casino is two minutes away by foot, or if Yoga is your thing, Apollo Yoga Studio is located just around the corner. Hagley Park - Christchurch City’s green heart - is just a block away, feed the ducks, explore the Botanic Gardens or work out with a jog or walk around the parks. Visit the recently reopened Christchurch Town Hall, "Turanga" - the award winning Christchurch Public Library and the refurbished Isaac Theatre Royal. No off-street parking though plenty of paid parking right out the front door or nearby public carparks. Better yet, forget the car and walk, Uber, bus, tram or scooter everywhere! An airport bus goes almost right past your door, or a selection of shuttles and taxis can get you anywhere you need to go from this incredibly central location. No off-street parking is provided however there is paid parking directly in front of the apartment (free of charge overnight) and further north of the property you will find free parking. Please note you will be towed if your car is found to be onsite and/or blocking the driveway. The expense will be charged to the owner of the vehicle.
