Within walking distance: old town, Prague castle, national gallery (several art, technical, agricultural), cinemas, sports (joga, running, biking, inline skating, fitness, tennis...), restaurants, bistros, bars, the most beautiful beer garden in town with a breathtaking panorama of old town, clubs, shops, supermarkets, excellent public transport and the quietness of two beautiful huge parks. walking distance from old town - just across the river. or stroll up through the park to Prague's castle. 5 tram lines (including nightlines) around the corner. 3 stops to old town - if you're too lazy to walk ;) - 2 stops to green or red metro. Prague is a great place for shopping: department stores, supermarkets, groceries and basically all shops downtown open over weekends till late ARRIVING FROM THE AIRPORT To arrive from the airport by public transport, it's easiest and fastest to take bus no. 119 to "Divoka Sarka", then tram no. 26 to "Letenske namesti". This takes around 45minutes. It makes sense to use a cab or Uber, especially when there's more of you. (cca 20euro) ARRIVING FROM THE MAIN TRAIN STATION "Hlavni nadrazi": coming out of the station, go right through the park, cca150m. take tram no. 26 to your left, direction "divoka Sarka", to stop "Kamenicka". Easy and fast, cca 15 min. tickets at the station in a tobacco shop ARRIVING FROM THE BUS STATION "Florenc" You take tram no. 8 to "Kamenicka". Easy and fast, cca 15 min. tickets in tobacco shop (with airport bus 119 also at driver, but better prepare change) PARKING: Parking is for residents only in this area, very limited number of hourly paid parking spaces available close by. the best option is a parking garage nearby for 150 CZK/ day. you'll find a map prepared
