Shrewley Pools Farm

Shrewley Pools Farm is a glorious place to stay . We have three bedrooms available with everything provided for children .This beautiful , traditional old farm dates from 1640 ,and retains many original features. There is an acre of fabulous garden , orchard and lake. Warwick ,Stratford upon Avon, the NEC and the Cotswolds , are nearby, as well as many National Trust properties. This is our home- you will be sharing it with us! Traditional, working farm with comfortable , spacious rooms surrounded by an acre of beautiful gardens with pond , orchard and lake . Experience staying in our family home ( sharing with us - we live here ! ) , as a friend , rather than just a guest. You are welcome to use our personal shower. Please bear in mind, that there are limitations when living in an ancient house regarding facilities! Guests share a sitting room ,dining room and hall , with log fires, as well as use of the large garden with orchard. Sorry for stating the obvious but this is our home so you do not have the whole house to yourselves ! You are free to wander the farm , garden and lake BUT children must be supervised due to deep water , animals, and farm machinery. Cooking facilities are not provided, and no food is to be consumed here. Lots of excellent pubs and restaurants within a ten minute drive. Baby sitting possible by arrangement I'm always about in the house and garden if guests are staying. The farm is 4 miles from the nearest town , Warwick -with its famous castle, and very well situated for many attractions ie Cotswolds, NEC , NAC, Kenilworth ,Stratford upon Avon, Leamington Spa , and several National trust and heritage properties. The famous Hatton Locks are 2 miles away , with excellent cafe offering breakfast. Recommended pubs offering good food within two miles. Hatton station is two miles away and Birmingham airport is 12 miles .Taxis are from Warwick .You can walk to the Falcon Inn for dinner ( 3/4 mile from the farm ) only in daylight in the (Website hidden by Airbnb) get the most from your stay you will need a bike or car , as we are a farm in the countryside and there are no buses. Extra guests £20 per night IF sharing the same room. Baby in cot £10 . Tea and coffee tray provided in the rooms . PLEASE NOTE that breakfast is not included and my kitchen is not available for guests to use . You may book breakfast - which is £9 per person extra for a full English - but I need notice. WiFi can be slow as we’re not near a town.
