Studio Le Peyrail

Le Peyrail is a charming farmhouse nestling amidst the Bordeaux vines near the ancient bastide town of Sainte Foy La Grande. In the 18th century the house was originally three vine workers cottages, now converted into one. Le Peyrail retains the intimacy of the cottage yet is spacious and roomy . We like to make our guests feel like part of the family whilst giving them the space and privacy that they need for a special holiday. We have three terraces where guests can relax and our extensive grounds give guest the chance to be alone in nature, or socialize with our animals . For our more gregarious guests we have musical evenings on the studio terrace where there Isa summer kitchen / bbq area . The guests are welcome to access any parts of the garden and terraces , there are some fenced off areas which are not accessible ( these are marked) The reception rooms are also available for our guests ,the kitchen area is ofcourse private although fridge space is available on request. We like to interact with our guests as much as possible, whilst of course giving them their privacy. I have met so many wonderful people through Air b’n’b and consider it a privilege to share my home and my experiences with other like minded people. We are situated right in the route de la Compostela so you can walk from the door for miles. There Isa pony club within walking distance of the house and our neighbors produce the most amazing organic wines and are happy to do tours of their Chateau. We have parking space for guests and offer the use of bicycles. We can also offer a taxi service for those wanting to travel further afield or simply ferrying to the station and back. Many guests are surprised and delighted to visit my studio. As an Artist IllustratorI offer residential and day art courses and am always happy to show people my current art projects. We are in the process of setting up a ceramic workshop in the big barn and will be doing some sculpting classes later on this summer. Many of the works of art in the house are for sale so don’t be afraid to ask if you are attracted to anything on our walls.
