Beautiful country house, river views, large gardens. The Wenning is a country house in rural setting within a short distance of the three-peaks, Yorkshire Dales and the Trough of Bowland. The Lake District is just 35 minutes away. The property was completely refurbished in 2015 to a high specification; it has underfloor heating, solar thermal, MHVR (ventilation system), great wall insulation, double glazing and room thermostats - this makes for a cosy space, regardless of the weather. You will have access to a garden and a private stretch of river. Fishing rights are included - note, a rod licence is required, available online or from the post office. Should you wish to bring horses, grazing is available by prior arrangement. Room Details: Bedroom 1: King double (waterbed), ensuite, walk-in wardrobe Bedroom 2: Queen double, ensuite Bedroom 3: Queen double (or twin - let us know if you prefer twin), ensuite (see note 1) Bedroom 4: 2 singles ensuite (see note 1) Note1 - bedroom 4 is accessed via bedroom 3, perfect for families. Bedroom 4 has an ensuite, as do all other bedrooms except bedroom 3. Bedroom 5: Queen double (or twin - let us know if you prefer twin), bunkbeds - bathroom across hallway Bedroom 6: Back of house, separate staircase, Queen double, ensuite Bedroom 7: 2 bunk beds - please note that this room is in the basement, the nearest toilet is a bit of a walk and up some stairs. Hot tub model: SOFTUB RESORT T300 (6 people maximum) - for the exclusive use of guest at The Wenning. There is a beautiful wild meadow, an "edible" foraging walk, and paddocks to play in. The train station is a 5 minute walk away.
