Fun Tree House Experience
Love the outdoors, want to escape from reality, but want some comfort, why not experience our kids tree house which got out of hand?!! Built in 1996 and lovingly maintained, the lounge/bedsitter has a studio couch which converts to a double or 2 singles. A galley kitchen downstairs, with kettle, toaster, sink (hot and cold running water), fridge, microwave and slow cooker. The hot shower and the toilet will allow you a little more comfort than basic camping! Great fun experience on Anglesey. Set in the grounds of an old rectory, the Tree House is built on stilts around an old tree, and has lived here for over 20 years, built for the youngsters and has improved with age! The lounge upstairs has a bed settee for a couple or 2 singles, tables, stools, electricity, wi-fi (no tv, we think you'll get all you need from your iPad/device. i.e. Netflix etc). The tree grows through the house, the walls are pine clad. It is cosy, especially at night. There's a heater, although it is usually quite warm. We will provide your bedding, tea towels and towels. The little galley kitchen is well equipped with kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, slow cooker, or you could barbecue outside. The wet room has a shower and a toilet, hot and cold running water in both. There's a hard standing under the Tree House, a handy private place for you to eat, barbecue or just enjoy a beer or a glass of wine, away from the hustle and bustle of your normal life! There is parking close by. We also have a caravan, a chalet and a flatlet on site, so you could come with a larger group. There is a large one acre field nearby which you are welcome to use. The Tree House is near our home, so you are not entirely cut-off! There is an acre field nearby, which you are welcome to use to play games etc, barbecue, although there is a hard standing under the Tree House, which is ideal for cooking out on, or enjoying a cold drink on a nice evening. There is car parking space close by.l We're here on site if you need us - always enjoy a chat, or we'll leave you in peace! Gaerwen is a small village about 6 minutes by car, over the Britannia Bridge. It is a central spot for visiting all of Anglesey's beautiful beaches, sights, Snowdonia, the Zip Wire, Bounce Below etc. etc. There are 2 shops open long hours where you can get provisions, off-licence, cash points, hairdresser, chippy, chinese takeaway and some good pubs, restaurants close-by. A car will easily help you explore the island and surrounding areas, but there is also a bus route to here, and trains run to the town of Bangor, and Holyhead. Request stops can be done at Llanfairpwll (the place with the long name, and a great tourist venue for pictures), which is the next village to Gaerwen. There are taxis too, if you require. 6 minutes from Britannia Bridge, sandwiched between the A5 and the A55, it's a handy place to access the island, Snowdonia and North Wales. The village has all the things you may want for your immediate needs.
