This one bedroom offers a large kitchen, a bedroom w Queen Bed, large walkin closet with lots of storage space and modern bathroom. The sofa bed can't be opened or closed. Please do not use to avoid a charge for repair. Thank you. If you are in the mood for a relaxing getaway with mountain and river views, waterfalls, and sunsets; a true homey living with all city conveniences, come and visit this little country abode at Esopus Hideaway. It offers you Paradise. The River Deck has been newly constructed. Great to sit and read a book and sun tan. The deck has spectacular views on the Esopus River and the sounds from the Water Falls of the Diamond Mill Hotel are so soothing to hear. There is one bedroom with a Queen size Bed. Fresh crispy linens and fluffy towels. The house is immacuately cleaned and sanitized. Guest has exclusive use of the back yard and the decks on property. There is a BBQ grill, if you wish to grill, patio furniture to sit on any of the decks and enjoy the warmth from the Cast Iron Fire Pit on the backyard facing the waterfalls. If there is no firewood left, firewood can be purchased at the hardware store or at the supermarket in town. There are cushions for the patio furniture inside trunks. Please place back in trunks when not in use. You can walk or drive to Partition Street where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants, boutiques, movie theatre and specialty shops. A wonderful book store for children and adults to enjoy. You can plan a day for Kayaking, boat rental, Golf, Bike Riding, or hiking in this area. There is a beach to enjoy just before the red bridge. There is also a public fishing pier on the other side of the bridge down the hill. Take a short journey to Seamon Park to the Saugerties Lighthouse. There is a Farmer’s Market every Saturday; 3 ski lodges approx. 30 min away : Hunter mtn, Bellayre, and Windham. Seasonally HITS horse show; the annual Sawyers Vintage Car Show; The Annual Garlic Festival, the Yearly Mountain Jam & Taste of Country, a 4-day outdoor Festival and the beautiful Fall leaves changing colors in the Catskill Mountains and many more attractions. Falling Waters on 9W is the closest hiking trail along the river. Upon arrival, if you can't open a digital lock, please call me or text me and I will be there to show you how to operate the lock. At times, I get a chance to meet guest with advance notice. Otherwise, I’m very communicative with my guest. There are 2 Resin Deck Trunks (one on the river deck, the other in backyard), with pillows for the patio furniture. PLEASE PLACE CUSHIONS BACK IN TRUNK WHEN NOT IN USE. There is a wonderful tenant who lives on the 2nd floor, who will never invade your space while guests are on the premises, and who is very considerate and helpful. Additionally, she’s barely there on weekends. During the months of December 15 thru March 15, please park in driveway NOT street, if you know it’s going to snow or it’s snowing, as the town needs to have access to sidewalk to snow plow. Off street parking is only seasonal. Otherwise, you can park on street off season. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood with magnificent water views and walking distance to village. Most Homeowners have own their properties for over 30 years. Very safe. Everything is walking distance, if you like to walk. If you don't have a vehicle, you can take the bus or taxi to property. There is a public bus (UCAT) schedule on website, cab service at $5.00 (may be more due to gas hike) to any place in village; 2 Trailways buses: Woodstock (15 min. Away) & right off Saugerties thruway exit. The door lock is digital. You will receive a text to notify of the code a week before your check in. To open door, key in your code, you will hear a series of beeps, then turn the knob on the key pad to your left (just as if you had a key) and it unlocks. When leaving premises, do the same procedure above, except turn the knob on the key pad to your right. There is a manual in the bedroom with house rules, wi fi password, and pertinent information for your stay. Please read it and adhere to the procedures in order to avoid unnecessary fees. Please flatten empty boxes in recycle container do not place whole in trash bin. If you are staying for 14 days or longer, the cleaning fee will be $175.00. If you are staying for more than a month, you are subject to a once per month cleaning fee, which will be requested monthly. Arrangements will be confirmed with you as to when apartment can be cleaned. If you wish to check in earlier or check out at a later hour, please feel free to let me know. I will not have a problem, as long as I don't have a back to back booking. There will be no additional charges for an early or later check out time.
