A short 1 hr. car ride from Mtl will bring you to the picturesque Eastern Townships. This beautiful little century home is located on 76 acres with a forest and meandering streams. The inground swimming pool is open from June till September (it's not heated). The house was newly renovated in 2018, with a bright, clean and comfy feel to it, fully equipped kitchen, veranda, BBQ, and a closed-in campfire are quite the treat in the summertime. Trails from the backyard will take you into the woods. A very quiet area where you can take off on a long bike ride, walk, or simply take it easy and lounge in the pool area. The winter season offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing right from the back porch. A bright open style kitchen and living room with wood stove (wood is provided at no extra cost). A large bedroom with a comfortable mattress and private bathroom (shower is only accessible from this master bedroom) and a powder room in the main living area. The second bedroom is also large and is on the upper floor (loft style, steep stairs). ***Please note that our daughter lives here (she vacates the premises when rented). That said, please be assured that the entire home is 100% yours, shelves are cleared and available for you in the fridge and freezer. Ants, spiders, flies, mosquitoes, tics, black flies, ladybugs, bees, wasps, grasshoppers, slugs, spotted salamanders, butterflies, moths, dragonflies, mice, birds, skunks, raccoons, fox, wild turkeys, deers, bears etc... If you are not comfortable with any of these natural beings/creatures, we suggest that you may want to book another home. PS: we promise you that to date, no elephants or hippos have been seen roaming our countryside 😉
