A small self contained cottage in the back garden of our family home. Ideal for families, couples or solo travellers. Double bed in the main living space + separate bunk room. Kitchen area is fully equipped if you choose to eat in. Great base to explore: 5-10 mins to beaches; fabulous walks; zoo; local shops; and plenty of tourist attractions within a 20 min drive. We have a cat, a dog & chickens so as long as you are happy to share our garden space, we'll be happy to have you here! Small but well equipped garden cottage in an ideal location to access all that beautiful North Wales has to offer. Situated in a quiet, leafy residential area, we're walking distance to some great beaches, cafes, pubs and shops. The space has everything you'll need for a comfortable getaway - and if it's missing anything, we're always on hand to help! Towels and bedding are provided but we ask that if you're heading out to the beach, you bring separate towels. Access to property is via a side gate and across the garden. You'll have your own space once you're in the cottage but the garden is shared with us. We're almost always here when we have guests staying but do our best to respect your privacy as the accommodation we use is separate - it's just the garden we share. With 2 teenage boys, life can be busy and if the weather's good we're often out cycling or at the beach.. but very happy to advise on places to eat, visit etc. We've accumulated a stash of toys over the years too so happy to lend a few bits to keep little ones entertained. We added a puppy to our family in Dec 2017 and he does run about in the garden but is super friendly. However if you are not comfortable with dogs please just let us know and we will take him out for more walks rather than playing in the garden with him. Colwyn Bay is a fantastic base. We're on the quiet outskirts of the town but have great amenities at West End (5 mins walk) where you can find fabulous coffee & cakes, Lidl supermarket and more. Another 5 mins walk and you're on the Promenade. Beautiful and quiet sandy beaches and all the proper seaside stuff await you! Hop in the car and you're a short drive from Snowdonia if you want some beautiful walks and picture postcard scenery. Colwyn Bay train station is approx 15 mins walk (we can often collect with prior notice) We're a short walk from most major bus routes which can get you to nearby Conwy, Llandudno etc. Parking either on our drive or just outside on street (happy to accommodate bikes in our garage) If you're travelling for a while and need some laundry doing, we're happy to do a wash in our machine for a minimal fee. Please note though that we don't have a tumble drier so can't guarantee a super fast turnaround! We have a couple of launderettes nearby if you're in a hurry.
