1 Bedroom Deluxe Waterfront Apartment at Couran Cove Island Resort. A Stunning location on South Stradbroke Island. The only Sand Island on the Gold Coast. A 45min scenic ferry ride from Main Beach. Or quick 10-15min taxi boat ride from Runaway Bay. Or take your own boat or Jetski and berth in the Marina. Our 1 Bedroom Upper Waterfront Apartment is right on the Beach, Large balcony with BBQ, overlooking the Lagoon. The Apartment Sleeps 4 comfortably. There is 1 king bed in the bedroom, 2 double sofa beds in the large living area. Sleep 2 adults and upto 4 kids Or 4 adults max. (2 small kids sharing 1 sofa bed or 1 adult not suitable for 2 adults on the sofa beds.) Lovely Marble bathroom with double vanity, separate bath and shower. Separate room with toilet. Digital TV in the bedroom and living room. With Wii console, DVD player. No internet in the room. Nice Large wooden balcony with table and 4 chairs. Overlooking the Resort lagoon. With Gas BBQ with side burner. 2 fold up chairs for extra guests. Microwave, 2 gas cook rings, toaster, kettle, small sandwich toaster, rice cooker, Pod Coffee Machine and medium size fridge/freezer in the apartment. Pots, pans, cutlery and crockery all there to use. BBQ on the Deck. Iron, ironing board, hairdryer in the room. 4 Towels, bed linen for the main bed and 2 sofa beds provided. Please bring own beach/pool towels. Towels must not be taken out of the apartment. Pool side can offer towels to borrow. BYO food and drinks to make it a cheaper holiday. There is a general store selling limited goods. BYO Alcohol is not permitted outside the apartment. As per License laws from the resort. But feel free to bring to drink at the apartment. Our Apartment is available privately through us, but you as our guest will still have full use of all the Resort Facilities on offer. Small fee for watersports. Note: There is 1 flight of stairs to climb to the apartment. As it is an upper level apartment, no lifts available. Unfortunately not wheelchair friendly. Free WIFI only available at reception not in the apartments. Full access to all the resort facilities. Including free use of all sports equipment, incl tennis and Squash rackets, Basketballs, volleyballs. Small fee to use kayaks, Stand Up Paddle Boards, and inflatables through the resort. Bikes are available to hire through the resort. Laundry available at the resort. Fees apply. Always Contactable via phone or email. We don’t live on the island but do occasionally stay on the island or spend days there. In an emergency there is reception staff and security available 24 hours a day. Tipplers Bar and restaurant. Approx 2.5km walk away along the Broadwater path. Or ride the bikes. Surf Beach 2.5km away, walk or hire bikes to get there. Tipplers offers a taxi service to and from the resort, subject to minimum numbers, contact tipplers for current price. Hire bikes from Games room to get around the resort. Or walk to the surf beach, which is approx 2.5km each way. Beautiful Sunset Beach and Bar is a short walk from reception. Walk or bike ride the 2.5km Broadwater trail to Tipplers bar and restaurant. You are our private guests in the resort. But you still have full use of all facilities same as resort guests. Free Wifi available at reception and poolside ONLY not in the apartments. You can hire bikes for a fee at the resort. Water sports facilities at kayak beach are now charged extra for all guests through the resort.
