Unique opportunity to stay in an official Tiny Home. Luna's Lodge, a hidden gem nestled on the edge of an AONB - the Mendip Hills. All the comforts of home without the distractions of home. A kitchen, separate bathroom w/ shower, living room, loft space for sleeping & eating areas both indoors & outdoors. Small living with a BIG focus on peace, quiet & connection to the natural simple things in life. Nature's playground awaits as soon as you step out the door or you may prefer to rest & relax... This little house is all about helping to de-stress, decompress and reminding us of what's really important. This space is perfect for those wanting to re-discover life's simple pleasures and at the same time to know that their eco foot print is tiny too. The unique eco design and build creates harmony within the home as well as with its natural surroundings. Even though a bit of a digital detox is hugely healthy there is wifi available but perhaps a good old fashioned read and listen to the wireless will be more your vibe once you arrive... This secluded home has been fitted out with all that you need to eat, sleep, relax in comfort. The house sits in the grounds of a beautiful manor house so although you have privacy you are not totally out in the sticks! Access onto the grounds will be provided so that you know exactly where to head. We are set up to charge electric vehicles so do let us know if you require access to charger. Luna's Lodge benefits from a contemporary kitchen with appliances and an eco friendly bathroom including a shower head that purifies the water and a non flushing compost loo to save water. The living area is beautifully furnished with relaxation as the focus for both body and mind with its mini library. Bristol and Glastonbury are within 20-25 mins drive and Bristol airport is less than 10 mins drive. Luna's Lodge is also an ideal pad to base yourself for any local weddings, family get togethers, celebrations. Its location on the edge of the Mendip Hills will also float the boat of any guest focused on outdoor activities with walking, hiking, cycling trails right from the door step, as well access to climbing adventures and even skiing, snowboarding are possible with the Mendip Outdoor Activity Centre within walking distance... and if you fancy a surf? You can catch a break at 'The Wave' a 40 min drive up the M5... The village of Churchill is a delight to walk around with its unique architecture, post office store and tea room and pub on the hill - The Crown Inn. Parking for Luna's Lodge is easy with free parking on the road outside the grounds or in the church car park. EV charger on site. I will not be at the tiny home but the owner of the overall estate on which the tiny home sits will be on site. They can be contacted if assistance is needed during your stay. If you have an electric vehicle that needs charging please let us know and we can organise this for you. Luna's Lodge sits on a private estate with the Mendip Hills right on your door step. Surrounded by fields and woodland walks there is also easy access to local amenities with a post office / general store and pub (The Crown Inn) within walking distance from the property. The house is 7 mins drive from Bristol Airport, 25 mins drive into the city of Bristol, and 20 mins drive to Glastonbury. If you fancy blowing the cob webs away there are some gorgeous coastal walks out toward Kewstoke (Sand Bay Beach and National Trust - Sand Point) about a 20 min drive. You can walk or drive to local amenities including the Mendip outdoor activity centre. Parking is available just outside the main gates to the property on a quiet country road. There is also free parking available in the Church car park next to the property. The Tiny Home experience is like no other. It offers the opportunity to experience what home life can be like without the clutter and all the distractions that keep us from connecting to the more simple things. To support the eco ethos of the build, design and function of the house we encourage its visitors to work in harmony with nature... to be mindful when cooking, washing, cleaning in a way that helps to reduce our eco foot print :-)
