The little cabin is set on private grounds with parking onsite. You may sometimes share the toilet /shower/bbqs with people camping of which there are 2 sites only in your area & only used at times of extreme busyness. The Cabin is equipped with a microwave, kettle, coffee cups, tea, coffee & milk. The bbq is close. Cutlery, crockery & pots are available for use if required. TV has DVD capability only. No linen/towels supplied unless requested for $12 to be paid for upon arrival. The main house is also the office to the campground of which is not anywhere near the cabin area and your area is not accessible to campers except over New Years and January. Your view is uninterrupted except by the horses which graze in the next paddock. A short walk to the swimming hole in the fresh water of the Wentworth river which is also where the walk to the 50metre Wentworth Falls begins. A night stroll to check out the glow worms or feed the eels is a fabulous way to end your day. Then come home to relax under the huge expanse of night sky uninterrupted by any lights and be captivated by the Milky Way and the Southern Cross and make wishes on the tails of shooting stars. If you are an early riser you may be blessed with a magnificent sun rise with the little cabin having a front row seat. I am always within reach if required otherwise you won’t usually see me unless I’m cleaning. 7.5km to Whangamata township full of boutique shopping and many cafes and restaurants to enjoy along with the beautiful coastline with your choice of pristine beaches to visit. The Wentworth Valley Road is now fully tar sealed making the 7.5km journey through the country side into town a delight whether by bike or car. The property is shared with the Wentworth Valley Campground although the cabin is in a private area not disturbed by campers except over New Years and January when you won’t find any part of Whangamata private or quiet. Although there are two powered camping sites that share your facilities on occasion but the cabin is facing away from this area and your luvly view won’t be compromised.
