The territory is also rich in events and festivals throughout the year; among others we remember "Volterragusto", a festival dedicated to wine and food to taste excellent local products, and Volterra AD 1398, an important historical reinterpretation for a leap into the past. For opera lovers we recommend the VinOperaFestival in the summer season, whose events are organized in the different towns of the area; an excellent opportunity to combine the passion for music and the art of discovery! Do not miss San Gimignano with its characteristic historical centre and the famous towers from which you can enjoy the surrounding panorama.
