An attractive and comfortable ground floor flat in a traditional sandstone building; easily accessible from Glasgow city centre; and close to a range of local shops, restaurants, and other amenities. A modern and recently updated apartment, in a well-maintained traditional tenement building, with all the facilities necessary to enjoy a short stay, handy for the busy community of Langside, and within easy reach of Glasgow City centre. The flat is a short walk from Hampden Park National Stadium. Great places nearby for a walk or run include Queen's Park and Pollok Country Park. The number 4/4A/4B bus for Glasgow City centre goes past the end of the street (less than 1 minute walk!) and takes about 25mins. The flat is also handy for Langside train station (about 8-10 min walk via Kintore Road), and the train takes around 15 mins into Glasgow Central station. Street parking is free, although it can get busy in the evenings and at weekends. Glasgow airport is about 20-25 mins away by car or taxi. A taxi journey to/from the airport with a local pre-booked taxi costs around £15/16. PLEASE NOTE: I do NOT accept bookings from local people who reside in Glasgow or nearby places.
