The HAPPY CAMPER--Where Nature Awaits

The Happy Camper is located in Saluda. Located just off of Interstate 26, down a mountain with breathtaking views and sharp turns. The smell of fresh mountain air, the sounds of rushing water, and the cozy natural setting, is what make the Happy Camper a place to visit time after time. Maximum capacity for two people wanting a quiet "get away". The camper is approximately 22 ft long x approximately 11 ft wide. Due to our location modern conveniences are sometimes limited. The Happy Camper is a cozy, rustic, simplistic camping experience directly located on the Green River in Saluda, NC. It is located away from the hustle and bustle of city life, however if our campers so choose, it is close enough to shopping, dining, banking, etc. WE are just a few minutes off of I-26, exit 59. The guests will enjoy: off street parking and have the entire camper to themselves. Guests can also purchase---- Our Happy Camper "Saluda" Gift Basket, Extra freezer space and/or ice, fire-pit set up with Smores. We are available to help our campers in any way that we can throughout their stay. The actual neighborhood is a mixture of both full and part-time residents. Once, down the switchbacks (sharp turns) aka "down in the Cove" as we call it, expect Nature to be waiting. Businesses/restaurants/gas stations are located within a 4 to 8 mile distance---- depending on what way that you are getting to camper. If traveling to camper off of I-26-- we are Exit 59 (Saluda)--there are approximately 3 miles of switch backs (sharp turns) down the mountain to the camper on the river. Our property is suited for only two adults only. Group events are prohibited at this property. We offer off-street parking, just steps away from the Camper. No public transportation nearby. The Happy Camper is for 2 adults. Some of our offerings may be limited due to the natural environment itself, weather conditions, power outages. Recommended items to bring: Proper camping attire/closed in shoes(water & hiking) hats, etc. bug repellants, camping essentials: for example, flashlights, are recommended.
