The house is divided into 3 floors and can accept up to 16 persons (12 adults max) in 9 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Inside the house, you will find a large equipment of a modern house, as well as a full outdoor furniture. There is plenty of space inside and out filled with rustic charm. Many of the original features remain, with the house full of period furniture. Outside there is space to roam, with woodlands, gardens, and a tennis court that we use frequently. It is s great place for families and friends to be together but still have space. The ground floor has a large, fully equipped eat-in kitchen, a formal dining room and a living room. Hosts are welcomed on their arrival by the owner who stays reachable during your stay. The chateau is a good starting point for visiting the Loire Valley castles. There are many old abbeys and medevial town and the chateau is located near the Futuroscope theme park. The house is situated at the border of a village, at 20 km of Poitiers (old historical town, romanesque churches, typical market), 5 km of the Futuroscope Park, 5 km of Saint Cyr leisure park (artificial beach, sailing sport) and a golf course (9 and 18 holes). There are several wine tasting place in the area (Chinon, Saumur, Haut Poitou). The area is great for biking, golf, horseback, riding, canyoning (on the Vienne river).
