Moil Studio

Our family home is elevated with a large yard, and a private studio room downstairs. The studio is where you will stay! Built in 2015, the room is fresh, cool, and open, with louvres throughout, an open-plan bathroom, and air conditioning. We are in close proximity to the airport (but not under the flight path), Casuarina shopping centre, public pools, 5 minute drive to beaches, 10 minutes to the CBD. You will have access to the Studio, laundry, and backyard. There is a table and chairs outside the Studio for guest use, where you can sit and enjoy the garden and bird-life. We also have two hens who roam freely during the day. We provide bedding, towels, shampoo and conditioner, cutlery/plates/bowls/mugs/glasses/chopping board/kettle/toaster. You will have access to the laundry (washing machine and clothes rack). The kitchenette has a fridge and sink, but no cooking facilities. Tea, coffee, milk, and muesli are provided. As a full-time Mum to two little ones, we are up early and usually home in the afternoons, so please expect to hear and see evidence of us! We are happy to have a chat and help with directions and suggestions of things to do in Darwin. We also respect the privacy of our guests and the need to maintain the space for you. We aim to meet guests at the earliest opportunity, however we do not like to intrude on your space and approach you in the room. If you hear us pottering downstairs, please pop out and say hi! After confirming your booking, please read through our House Manual so you have more of an idea of what to expect whilst staying in The Studio. We live in a quiet residential street, 1km from the airport. Just a short walk to several bus stops, parks, and a convenient store. It is useful to have a car when staying in our area. There is unrestricted on-street parking. When requesting a booking, please let me know who you will be travelling with (a first name will do!), as well as your estimated arrival time. Check-in times may be flexible, depending on availability. If Tom or I are available to meet you upon check-in, we will do that! However we have an easy self-check-in process for times when we are not available.
