Easy access to the beaches, villages, towns, ports and marinas of West Cumbria. Nice bar and restaurant with cask real ales, great food and teas/coffees in the neighbouring hotel, just a short stroll. Lunch and a la carte menus. Open 7 days a week from 12 noon. Full address, directions and a key locker combination will be provided. Nearest train station is 4 miles away, but a car would be handy. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Good country walking from the door to suit all levels. Wastwater only 4 miles. Nearest shop is 1 mile. Stroll around the grounds and lawns of Irton Hall. Access to great bike trails and climbing. Muncaster Castle, gardens and Owl Sanctuary only 5 miles. Take a ride on the Eskdale miniature steam railway at Ravenglass/Boot. West cumbria beaches, ports and marinas within driving distance. Great Lake District Pubs and Inns a short distance away. 1 mile to the Bridge Inn at Santon Bridge (a nice stroll). The Bower House, King George IV Inn, The Screens Inn, The Strands, Wasdale Head Inn, The Boot Inn and The Woolpack Inn are just a short drive away (all within 12 miles). The neighbouring cottages can be booked for groups larger than four. There is a wedding venue close by on the estate.
