Yurt in the mountain near the beach

Connect with nature only 30 minutes away from Barcelona. Our beautiful mongolian yurt is located within our homestead of 4 hectares. Our place is dedicated to those looking for a time to relax, laugh and explore. Our homestead is part of the natural park Serralada litoral. You will enjoy a peaceful environment where the mountains offer splendid views over the sea. The yurt is a circular space of six meters in diameter. It's design offers a unique feeling of well-being, very different from the squared rooms we are used to. The natural materials (wool, cotton, horsehair and wood) also provide the effect of a cocoon. We are looking for simplicity and comfort. You will sleep under a warm feather duvet and will be able to prepare a good coffee and a picnic easily thanks to the basic dishes and the camping gas available. Note that we also offer meals on demand (breakfast and dinner). You are invited to walk through the homestead as much as you want but also to discover the many paths of the natural park. Our house is located a few hundreds of meters away from the yurt. The yurt has its own bathroom located a few meters away. It's an outdoor bathroom including a dry toilet, a sink and a shower. There is no hot water. It's quite nice during a good part of the year, but if you need a hot shower do not hesitate to ask to use our bathroom. The yurt is located in a beautiful part of our land. Not to close to the house, but not so far away neither. You will be autonomous and peaceful, but we will be available if you need anything or if you want us to explain you how the farm works. The small town of Vallromanes is located 2km away from our property. There, you will find a bakery, a grocery shop, a farmacy, an outdoor swimming pool, restaurants, and even thermal baths (Aire Baths). The best way to arrive is by car. You can park for free at our place. But there are to other options : 1) Take the bus (e19 Sagalès) from Barcelona to Vallromanes and walk to the homestead (30 minutes). Be aware that they are only a few buses per day. 2) Take the train to El Masnou or Montmelo. We offer to pick you up there for 20 euros. You must contact us at least the day before if you would like to take this option. 3) Looking for adventure ? Some of our guests choose to come walking or by bike. Ask us if you want some advices about that. Our homestead works on solar energy and we care a lot about our consumption. That's why the yurt does not have plug sockets. We provide you with power banks for your mobile phones and lights. You will have a small cooler box. You can buy ice at the village or come pick up ice packs at our house. Don't forget, the idea is to disconnect !
