LochLomond Apartment-Ground Level/Private Entrance
Bright fresh and fully refurbished ground level Apartment with it's own front door entrance for easy access. I have tried to create a cozy home from home for family's, couples and groups of four. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, gas oven and hob, if you wish to cook a meal during your stay. Coffee, Tea and fresh milk provided. There is also a new travel cot and high chair for anyone with infants. The entire property consisting of hallway, two separate Bedrooms and Bathroom, Living area and separate Kitchen. The Property can sleep 4 people, however 1 of those can only be a baby or child/infant upto 2yrs old - Travel Cot supplied, It can not sleep 5 Adults. Thank you. I will always try to 'Meet and Greet' guests who arrive for the first time, and will be available in person at some point during their stay should they require any help or information, I can be reached my phone, text or email at anytime. Balloch is definitely the gateway to The Highlands and Islands of Scotland and there is so much to do too all year round. All the local main attractions are within easy reach by walking, bikes or cars. Balloch Central train station is under a 10min walk away and will take you to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Glasgow/Edinburgh: Can be reached by train from Balloch Central, 2 trains every hour to Glasgow taking 45mins or a 30min drive, and swapping trains at Dumbarton (4 stops from Balloch taking just 15mins) you can then get a direct train to Edinburgh, whole journey time around 2 hours or a 1 hour 20min drive (Parking car be diffucult and expensive in Edinburgh) The Historic City Of Stirling, which i would definitely recommend is a 40min drive away if you have a car, or change trains at Glasgow 1 hour 30mins in total. The local swimming pool is under a 1min walk..YES! a 1 min walk from the front door, where there is both adult and kids pools, sauna, steam room and gym and keep fit classes. Or take a boat trip up Loch Lomond from Sweeneys Boatyard by the bridge at Balloch, a 10min walk away or go for a nice walk round Balloch Country Park. You are also a 10min walk away from The 'lochlomondshores' check it out online, which offers a full range of award-winning, land and water-based outdoor activities and events from the main beach at Loch Lomond Shores. Loch Lomond SEA LIFE Aquarium: Explore an amazing underwater world and take a fascinating journey from the Loch Lomond shores to the ocean depths through 7 themed zones, including our Tropical Ocean Tunnel. Guided activities During the main summer season (April – October) activities include: segway tasters and adventures, canoeing, gorge scrambling, archery, paddleboarding, canyoning, mountain biking, river sledging and not forgetting the aerial adventure course Treezone, also at Loch Lomond Shores. Boat & bike hire For those who wish to explore the loch independently, they also offer a boat and bike hire operation. They have canoes, kayaks, 6 seater katakanus and pedal boats and all sizes of bikes. The Bird of Pray Centre, and Outdoor weekend Markets selling Local Produce, there is far too many things to mention, summer and winter!
