We live in our own built contemporary wood house and enjoy sharing our rural lifestyle. We offer a large studio basement flat with stunning views across glorious French countryside. There is private parking on site and guests have their own private entrance and decking. This is a very tranquil setting but with plenty of amenities close by. This includes a river with beach within 2 km. We are also just 5 minutes drive from Aubeterre. We are a 90minute drive from Bordeaux. This is a very contemporary wooden self built. It is very comfortable with stunning views and lovely walks straight from our doorstep. Our guests have their own entrance and private outdoor space in front of the studio flat. You are also welcome to relax in the hammocks underneath the cherry tree and take in the glorious vistas. For a small contribution our guests may harvest from our chemical free vegetable patch for their personal use. There is a composter by the vegetable patch where guests may drop their compost waste. We are very sociable and happy to share this beautiful part of France with our guests. Equally if guests prefer to remain private the studio apartment gives much privacy and seclusion. This is a very tranquil setting with stunning views and woods close by. However, there is also a vast choice of amenities close by. Down the hill is St Aulaye with its river beach and relaxed restaurant. The town itself has a choice of bakeries and more restaurants to choose from. Aubeterre and its extensive restaurant choice and another river beach is a 5min drive away. Bordeaux is just a 90minute drive away. You have the option to rent bikes which can be delivered to the house by the rental company. Guests can park their car on site. We have 1 dog and 2 cats. Unfortunately we are unable to accept guests with pets.
