Water tot is filled with well water for cooking/showering. Water cooler for drinking. Learn about living off the grid, how to save energy, connect with nature, relax away from busy life. Park-like area for picnic. Five acres of land with own trails is exclusively for you to enjoy! Need to follow all instructions! At Natural Splendor, it's not only a relaxing stay, but also educational. Learn how solar works and the ways to manage your daily energy needs. But, one word of caution, poor energy management may put you in the dark! We provided Tips/Suggestions how to manage the energy. Follow them and learn. Cabin and the smaller building used as powder room and bathroom, park-like area w/fire pit, tiki cabana/hut, walking trails, private parking is all for you to access. The cabin is just down from our main house. Either me or my wife will be available most of the time to answer questions. Wake up in the morning to the sound of the neighbors roster! Take a walk on our trails and encounter the local wildlife. If you need to get out, downtown Pittsboro, Carrboro or Chapel Hill are only 10-15 min away. Only 5 min to Chatham Park's new restaurants. Very safe, established neighborhood. Outside propane gas grill is available. The shower has hot water from tank less water heater. Please, follow all instructions properly or you will stay out of energy. Bring food that do not need constant cooling. We have great restaurants nearby.
