Kasbah Tifaoute Guest House

Our guest house is located at the entrance to the small village Assfalou, itself 3km from Ait Ben Haddou, the most Fabulous Kasbah in the Moroccan South, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Our guest house has been hand-built by our family in Pisa, a traditional earthen building material in southern Morocco. Our Kasbah (guest house) is built with pisa (a mix of earth & straw), wrought iron, carved wood, berber carpets, and various paintings and objects made by local Berber artisans. Our 5 rooms can accommodate 1 to 4 people . They are all equipped with a private bathroom and toilet, air conditioning and ventilation, and there is a communal Berber hammam. , Tifaoute offers lounges, terraces , garden, private parking and free internet via modem. The restaurant serves regional dishes for guests to explore wonderful Moroccan cuisine. During your holidays in Tifaoute, you can enjoy numerous adventure activities and visit beautiful local attractions , including 4x4 excursions and stroll through the nearby Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, a complex of buildings in terracotta, with fortifications supported by corner towers. While staying at Tiffaoute you will have access to your private room, as well as a shared living room and dining room, exterior shaded terraces, a private and secured parking area and the communal hammam. You can quickly escape into the surrounding desert landscape by simply walking out the front door off into the hills. Our multi-generational berber family runs this guest house and we can provide any information you need about the surrounding areas and possible activities. We also offer complimentary wifi and an in-house restaurant.
