Homely Cotswold escape with stunning views

* The suite will be cleaned and sanitised in line with stringent guidelines. Beautiful guest suite situated in a lovely Cotswold village in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The accommodation is fully self contained on the ground floor of our home and is beautifully equipped for your enjoyment. The location has the wow factor with both stunning views, great local amenities and acres of National trust common land to explore. Guests have access to the property via their own private entrance on the terrace which affords amazing views over the Woodchester Valley. Once inside there is a hallway, spacious double bedroom with king size bed, bathroom with bath and shower and a small lounge / kitchenette to relax, unwind and prepare food or a drink to enjoy on the terrace. The kitchenette is ‘small but perfectly formed’. It has a combination microwave/cooker/grill. Fridge with small freezer compartment, nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster and an induction one ring hob. It is well equipped and provides the option of staying in and preparing a meal. A small selection of breakfast uitems are provided too, as well as tea, coffee for your convenience and enjoyment. There is a sofa and TV with terrestrial channels as well as an amazon fire stick and blue tooth speaker. The property is equipped and furnished to a high standard to ensure every comfort is provided for. It is light and airy and has been decorated in fresh neutral tones with some homely ‘Cotswold’ touches. There is underfloor heating throughout with thermostatic controls in each room. It’s a lovely warm house but refreshingly cool in the summer being at ground floor level. We live in the main part of the house so may be around if needed, but you will have the privacy to enjoy your stay and be left to your own devices. Three pubs within 5-10 minutes walk, great cycling, walking and golfing on your doorstep. Easy access to Nailsworth down the road and it’s excellent range of independent shops and quirky welcoming vibe. The house is about two miles from Stroud Train station, I would advise getting a taxi or let me know when you plan to arrive and I may be able to pick you up. If arriving by car, there is usually plenty of place to park on the roadside outside the house. Just be mindful to keep the pathway clear for ease of access. This guest suite is part of my home situated below the kitchen and adjacent to my hallway and a bedroom. Additional sound insulation has been added to the walls, floor and door but some ambient noise from the main house may be unavoidable.
