We are the Green Mussel Capital of the world so we have several restaurants where you can try these. We are within 1 hours driving distance to Nelson or Picton and about 45 minutes to Blenheim. Marlborough is famous for it's fine wines and tours are available to the wineries. You have your own private BBQ area and a new gas BBQ you can cook on. Off street parking is available. We provide tea, coffee & milo, milk and sugar. Bath room has soap and shampoo free of charge. We can show you good trout fishing areas and will share a BBQ with you during the Summer months.( PS if you catch the trout) We have a smoker available. Please note a licence is required for trout fishing. We are within easy walking distance to the village and the marina, museums, cafes and restaurants. There is a bird walk in the marina and a walk to a local waterfall also a couple others. There is public transport ( bus) from Picton, Blenheim and Nelson but check time tables first. We highly recommend that you check out the Havelock Mail boat that delivers mail and groceries to the outer sounds. You can spend a nice day out on the water and enjoy the Pelorus Sound.
