Named for the Scouring Burn that babbles nearby, the bijoux studio apartment has plenty of room for two, en suite facilities, a kitchenette and patio doors to the garden. We're surrounded by countryside, with woodland walks, riverside rambles, climbing, canoeing and and an abundance of creative inspiration on our doorstep. You can set off from back gate and walk for hours exploring the warren of paths without setting foot on a pavement. We're just a short drive from the Scottish Highlands too. We are very happy to offer the use of our large garden to guests, and you will have exclusive use of the patio and lawn area directly outside of the apartment, which is to the rear of the property offering privacy from our house and the street. Just ask if you need kindling and logs for the fire pit, and feel free to admire the view from the top of the land art, it's a great place to watch the sun set over the Laigh Hills. The studio appartment is yours alone to enjoy. You are very welcome to make use of the garden which is shared with our house. Your patio doors face away from our house ensuring both your privacy and ours. Access to the adjacent artists studio is available by prior arrangement and at an extra charge. Please contact us for further details. We live in the house next door, and if we are around we'd be very happy to recommend a good walk, a place to buy local delicacies for your picnics, or point you in the direction of a good pub. The historic and picturesque 'city' (because we have a cathedral!) is well connected by road and rail, with frequent trains to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth, Aberdeen, and even the sleeper train to London. Located just off the A9 it is an easy drive to a multitude of stunning highland beauty spots, making it a perfect launchpad for hill walking, climbing, canoeing and most importantly, artistic inspiration! We're surrounded by countryside, with woodland walks, riverside rambles and an abundance of creative inspiration right on our doorstep. You can set off out the back gate and walk for hours exploring the warren of paths without even setting foot on a pavement, and we're a short hop by car or public transport to the Highlands. The town itself is steeped in history, boasting not only the majestic Cathedral but also the country's first ever lending Library, and of course Andy Murray's gold post box! There is parking for one car on the driveway which we share, you are welcome to park in front of the studio or the house. Please park considerately so that we can all get in and out easily. Dunblane is extremely well connected by public transport with direct trains to all Scottish cities and many further afield. Regular busses pass by the property too.
