Welcome to our comfortable cottage overlooking a deep canal leading to St. John's River. Experience small town Florida in a laid back atmosphere reminiscent of the 1950s. View manatees in nearby springs, hike forest trails, visit nearby attractions, tie your boat to our dock, grill a steak, shoot pool, go fishing,swim & snorkel, kayak spring runs, climb a lighthouse, read a book, watch the sunset, sleep late, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of Astor. Your hosts live in house in front of cottage and are happy to assist with your questions and needs. We look forward to meeting you and to making your visit an enjoyable experience Neighborhood is small city reminiscent of Florida 50 years ago. Most homes are on canals and are owned primarily by retirees. It is a very quiet peaceful fishing and boating community. Astor has several excellent restaurants, a grocery store, a gas station and a Dollar General. No public transportation in the Astor area.
