A very cozy, compact and airy, completely independent beautiful and cozy cottage that comes with a patio and a swing, huge garden and terrace space ideal for single travellers on a budget and couples looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway in the hills, The bedroom comes with a single bed, and the living room has a sofa and a cot for sleeping. The cottage can accommodate single travellers or couples who are willing to share a cozy space together, on a budget. It comes with a small Indian/Squat Style Toilet with emulsion rod for hot water as well. Tap water is available in morning and evening but can be requested for more from the host at any time during the day. I would encourage the guests to send a message before they send a reservation request as would like to know who is coming first. The patio right outside the rooms has a beautiful swing and centre table to enjoy the delicious food and tea outside. The patio and swing is private for the guests. The huge garden space and the terrace is also accessible right outside the room. The hosts are super friendly and chilled out and would often share a cup of tea with you A soulful space ideal for peace lovers and lazy bones. Super-chilled out neighbors. Sometimes it becomes so quite it's almost scary! One can take a cab up the hill from the mall road which takes 5-10 minutes (800 meters from the mall road, costs around 150 bucks to drop), and an additional walk up on steep hill of less than 350m which takes about 10-15 minutes to reach the place. One can also chose to walk up to the room enjoying the beautiful stretch. Note: Elderly people or people who're not okay with walking on steep slopes would have problems walking up from the general car park area and are suggested not to take the accommodation. The room comes with a small squat style/ Indian toilet cum washroom, with emulsion rod for heating water. Other facilities such as homemade vegetarian meals (lunch or dinner), arrangement of heater, etc are available on request on Prior Notice and are charged accordingly. Home made vegetarian meals are available on prior notice only, and are charged extra. Since we don't have a staff currently at the homestay premises due to the impact of COVID-19, we are unable to serve breakfast at the time, and are only able to serve Lunch and dinner at the moment, on prior notice. Please bear with us for these tough times, and we'd appreciate if you try to help yourself with basic needs, however we are available to help you with anything you might need for comfort at the rooms, keeping in mind the no-contact policy and norms for taking safety measures against the virus. Drinking water (filter water) is available for the guests to use. Arrangement of Mineral water bottles is available on request as well. Homemade vegetarian and vegan meals are available on prior request. Alcohol consumption or use of any kind of narcotics is strictly prohibited. The guests must maintain peace in the homestay and the neighbourhood during night and no kind of disturbance would be allowed after 10 pm. We follow a Strict Quiet time after 10 pm which means no talking or chatting outside the rooms, and no talking loudly inside the rooms after that time as sound is clearly audible in the building after dark. The guests are expected to respect and abide to the quaint atmosphere of the homestay. There is a 300m of steep uphill walk with some steps to the homestay from the general car parking area, and we hope that the guests are aware and okay with that. The guests are suggested to carry light luggage and in case of carrying luggage that is bigger than backpacks with themselves, a porter can be arranged on prior notice and charged accordingly. Housekeeping charges are collected on checkout as ₹100 for the entire stay, along with other dues. All guests are required to submit a copy of their ID's at check-in, or sendthe ID's before the check-in. Note: PAN Card is not accepted as a valid ID. Smoking should not be done inside any of the rooms. The place does not have a power backup, however, we usually don't experience frequent power cuts in the area until there's some major fault or sometimes due to intense weather conditions. Place is suitable only for quiet and peace-loving people.
