3 bedroom family friendly holiday Home near Luçon

Set in a quiet village, yet only 15km to the beaches of the Southern Vendée, Le Vieux Café is a real home-from-home, with everything that you would need for a relaxing holiday. Ideal for families, dogs welcome and owners living next door to offer help and support during your stay - not to mention the odd glass of local wine! Fantastic area for birdwatching, country walks, cycling paths and forest trails, plus miles of sandy beaches nearby. The house has panoramic views over a wetland valley. The house is equipped with UK and French free-to-air TV channels, Wi-Fi throughout and comes with access to a huge games room with a dvd and book library, XBox 360, small snooker table, table tennis, and lots of toys and games for younger children. The bedrooms are all located on the first floor, so this house would not be suitable for guests with mobility problems. One of the 2 shower rooms is on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you would need - oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and a supply of tea, coffee and sugar to start you off. All bed linens are provided, as are towels and tea towels. All guests will have access to the whole house, plus they will have shared use of the gardens, boules court, 12m x 7m heated swimming pool, games room and gym. There is a private terrace outside the house with a dining table, chairs and charcoal BBQ. We, Annette & Jason, live in the adjoining house, so are on hand to offer advice on places to visit, the best restaurants in the area and what to do in an emergency! We often hold 'Apero Evenings' with guests so that we can all get to know each other better! Le Vieux Café is located in a quiet village, only a short drive from the bustling town of Luçon - with its weekly market, supermarkets, restaurant and lovely park - Le Jardin Dumain. The beaches are only 15 minutes away, Puy du Fou is 1 hour away and there are lots of other tourist attractions nearby too - O'Gliss Water Park, Chateau des Aventuriers, Indian Forest Adventure Park and The Parc Floral de Court d'Aron. The area is great for visitors who love to watch birds or to see local wildlife - we have great views of the Marais Communal from our garden and often see lots of wildlife - storks, cranes, buzzards, swans, coypu, deer and pheasants. A car is needed as public transport/taxis are not really available. The area has great walking/cycling trails and pathways. We have one other holiday home on site - l'Ecurie - so there may be other guests using the pool, games room, garden and gym during your stay. We live on site and have three very friendly cats - Buster, Fleur and Kitty!
