Double room in house in quiet location.

Situated very close to the South Downs National Park, newly decorated private double room on ground floor of a detached house, with king-size bed, wardrobe, drawer space, TV + hand-basin in room. Private shower room (close to the bedroom), private toilet (also close to the bedroom). detached house in a large and beautiful garden. Quiet location with off-road parking. Space outside your room to work on a laptop if you wish. A car is advisable (essential) as local public transport is poor. Your room is private and lockable. Just outside the ground floor room is the toilet and shower room. Both are exclusive for your use. My kitchen is available if you want to make tea or coffee (I can supply both). Breakfast is by arrangement. You are welcome to use the dining room to eat your snacks or take-away meals. Hairdryer in the room. If you want to cook full meals in the kitchen, I will make a charge of £5 per day. You will have your own freezer drawer and a shelf in the fridge. Cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are provided, and you can eat in the dining room. Please do not undertake "non-meal" cooking, such as cake-baking, and limit your time to an hour or so to prepare your meal. Please clear up afterwards (you can use the dishwasher but please do not set it off without consulting me). Please ask if you need anything at all. Your bedroom, your toilet and your shower are all exclusive to you. Use my kitchen to cook main meals and eat in the dining-room by arrangement and for a small extra fee. I advise you to have your own transport. We have an hourly bus, but it does not run in the evening or on Sundays. Please wear a mask when interacting with me and keep 2m apart. I live in the property and am available for large parts of the day. I carry my mobile phone while out. Happy to chat if you are, but will give you your space if that's what you prefer. During the pandemic please wear a mask and maintain the correct social distance (2m) from me. Check-in times by arrangement to suit you, but preferably before 6 pm. I live in a quiet neighbourhood very close to the lovely National Park. There are plenty of great walks locally. There is a bus to town once an hour (not on Sundays). There is an interesting heritage windmill in our road which is worth a visit in summer. Worthing is a busy seaside town, located about 4 miles from my house, with much to offer. We are also close to the historic town of Arundel with its castle and antique shops. A car would be advisable as the public transport is not good, and non-existent in the evenings and Sunday. You can park in my drive, so off-road. We are close to the A24 and the A27 so you can get to Brighton, Portsmouth and Horsham very easily. There is a good train service to London, Brighton and Portsmouth from Worthing and Durrington on Sea (nearest station) or Arundel, but you will need a car or taxi to get to the station. Ground floor and wheel-chair friendly, apart from two steps into the house.
