On the ground floor there's a large, sociable living and dining room, a games room containing snooker and table football tables and a chess board. The bedrooms (all en-suite) are all located on the first floor along with a smaller second living room. Excluding a couple of cupboards, guests have unlimited access to the grounds and house. We're available to provide guests with any information or help you may require throughout your stay. Our neighbour who is also our house keeper/gardener will also be available throughout your stay. Viana do Castelo is a historic sailing port and is only a few kilometres away. It offers numerous excellent restaurants, bars, and cultural delights. Further to it has its own shopping centre containing cinemas and a bowling alley. The Santa Luzia Sanctuary nestled in the hills above Viana has one of Portugal's most unforgettable views, claimed to be among the most beautiful in Europe. Located just 15 kilometers away is picturesque 18-hole Ponte de Lima golf course. With a mixture of hill and plain holes, this course caters for both beginners and seasoned pros alike. There are a number of large supermarkets and hardware stores approximately 5 mins away by car. Hiring a car at the airport is the best way of getting around. The recently built A28 motorway provides easy access to the Galicia region in Northern Spain and to Porto which has the nearest Portuguese International airport and is about 60 kilometres away.
