Montboyer has an excellent restaurant, which is very popular so reservations are highly recommended. In Montmoreau, a 10-minute drive away, there are two excellent bakeries, two restaurants, one bar, a cinema local shops including a supermarket and an outdoor swimming pool (July and August). In Bors de Montmoreau, again just 10 minutes away is a pub with it's own brewery. The property is situated south of Angouleme and north east of Bordeaux. Supermarkets are a 10-minute drive away. Riding stables less than five minutes and a riverside beach ten minutes away.
