Our 250sqm family house located on the top of the Ourthe Valley has been carefully designed in the true New England spirit with a master open fire place offering you warmth, cosy and romantic moments for a memorable stay. The house is facing 100% South and benefits 360° open views, guests will enjoy stunning scenery with very long sunny days while children will love the great yard & its playground. Guests will feel at home in our spacious carefully decorated wooden house lain on the top of the Marcourt village. Suited for families first, it has currently two independent cosy wooden bedrooms fitted with queen beds on the first floor and one Italian shower bathroom. The warm and comfy living room on the ground floor has a sofa bed to accommodate two more guests. We have used the best building materials such as oak wooden floors & natural stones to give it a great feeling of warmth and coziness. The two sided open-fire facing both the living and the dining rooms with its stone sitting area makes a perfect place for long winter evenings, where two privileged guests can sleep nearby. The brand new spacious american kitchen fully equipped invites you to cook marvelous meals while the bar awaits your friends for some nice long talks. Travel baby cot with topped mattress and baby chair are also available and our toddler guests will have all that is needed for their entertainment. The 1 acre yard (40ares) overlooking the entire valley and the notorious Saint-Thibault chapel is fitted with a small wooden playground, sand pit, barbecue area, long wooden table, outdoor lounge and long chairs. This is a brand new house. Guests can enjoy the vast entire parts that are already built. Some areas are locked because they are yet to be designed for future expansion. Free parking for 4 cars in front of the house. The street is so quiet that you can walk freely up and down to nearby walking trails. The very active village of Marcourt with its 7/7 open tourism information office is located 500 meters further down the road. We are committed to make you feel as well as possible. Upon your arrival you will get complimentary coffee, tea and mineral water as well as some directions to our favorite restaurants, pubs, bakery, pharmacy and doctors as well as the best walking trails and outdoor activities in the areas. In case of real emergency, we have relatives living in the village who can be reached. Marcourt is the most dynamic village of the area with many activities all year long, you can visit the Marcourt-Beffe tourist board website for more information. Located 7Km from the medieval town of La Roche en Ardenne and not far from the so renowned city of Durbuy, the area is ideal for nature and history lovers, numerous walking trails pass right by our house. There is a 18 holes golf course close by and many gastronomic restaurants for gourmets. We are located on the top of the village and unfortunately, no public transport is available. However, we would happily guide you and provide directions upon request. We are heartily welcoming you into our house and hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we enjoy living there.
