The property is situated in the quiet and peaceful village of Allonne in the Deux Sevres not far from Poitiers. It has been nicely renovated and is well equipped. On the ground floor there is a large lounge, dining room, galley style kitchen and shower room. On the first floor there are three bedrooms and shower room. The rear door takes you to the rear courtyard with parking and terraced area. The rear garden is accessed by an entrance at the back of the courtyard to the side of the barn. There are lots of interesting places to visit within easy driving distance. Also, La Rochelle on the coast is about 70 minutes away. Lots of information about the area is available at the house. We have caretakers for the house available the village. The village of Allonne is a quiet, typically French village with bar restaurant near to the house. The church in the square near to the house is a listed building. A very short drive away (5 to 10 minutes) is the small town of Secondigny which has a supermarket, pharmacy, bank, and a selection of small shops.
